Requirements to apply
Under Law 21.659 on Private Security, we require and verify these requirements before the Undersecretariat for Crime Prevention for all operational staff.
Security Guard
18 years or older, up-to-date OS-10 certification, and a clean criminal record.

- Chilean nationality or foreign nationality with valid permanent residency.
- Completed basic education (minimum of 4th year of secondary school).
- Clean criminal record, with no convictions or pending proceedings for felonies or misdemeanors.
- Up-to-date OS-10 certification.
Medical and psychological requirements
- Medical certificate confirming physical fitness for the role.
- Psychological report certifying impulse control and stress resilience.
Security Supervisor
Supervisor course (120 to 140 hours), up-to-date OS-10 certification, and a clean record.

- Be at least 18 years old.
- Chilean nationality, or foreign nationality with valid permanent residency.
- Clean special-purpose background certificate, with no convictions or pending proceedings.
- If formerly in the Armed Forces or Police, not have been discharged for disciplinary reasons.
- No convictions for domestic violence or under the stadium violence law.
- No serious sanctions under the private security law in the last 5 years.
- Completed secondary education (4th year of secondary school).
- Up-to-date military service status.
Medical and psychological requirements
- Medical certificate confirming fitness for the role, issued by a surgeon.
- Psychological report certifying impulse control and high stress tolerance.
Training and hiring
- Pass the Security Supervisor Course (120 to 140 hours) at an authorized training institution (OTEC).
Patrol Officer
Up-to-date class B or C driver's license and a clean driving record.

Driver's license
- Class B license (trucks or patrol cars) or Class C license (motorized patrol), valid and issued in Chile.
- Driving record issued by the Civil Registry with no serious or very serious infractions (driving under the influence, extreme speeding, or accidents with injuries).
